"Friday 4-45pm and an urgent call to Patrick having used his excellent MOT and road tax checker led to a laid up 911 and a car-less wife for the weekend. Patrick dutifully arrived as arranged on Tuesday morning and returned it a few hours later with a valid and current MOT certificate. BEYOND THE CALL OF DUTY
"I have been driven to write this testimonial for those who are thinking of using Forge Garage for their MOT or other automotive services. During the Christmas period I was unfortunate enough to experience three consecutive days of automotive misfortune.
Day 1: My wife had a puncture, simple you think but not if whoever (not me) tries to put the jack in the wrong place and lets the car fall to the floor bending the brake housing around the disc brake. Result: Same day, Patrick to the rescue and the job was done at minimal cost.
Day 2: I awoke to find that during the night someone had decided my drive was the Honda parts department and they had relieved my car of its catalytic converter, oxygen thingy and sections of exhaust. Result: Same day, Patrick found the parts, fitted and returned my car to me (he had also given me a loan car so I could carry on my work).
Day 3: My wife's car stopped working, dead battery. Result: Loan car provided, new alternator fitted, car working again.
I cannot recommend Patrick enough. I will NEVER be taking my cars anywhere else and I will always recommend Patrick, not just because of this list of work but for the excellent service he has also provided in the past."
